Winter 2014 Anime – Top 5 OP & ED

Well now that I’ve had the chance to listen to the openings and endings several times now for the Winter 2014 season, I thought I’d make a list of my favourite ones of the season. This list is just based on my personal musical preferences and on the winter series that I’m currently watching.

My top 5 Winter 2014 anime openings:

Hamatora OP

5. Mikakunin de Shinkoukei – “Tomadoi→Recipe” by Mikakuning!

4. Nisekoi – “CLICK” by ClariS

3. Noragami – “Goya no Machiawase” by Hello Sleepwalkers

2. Nobunaga the Fool – “FOOL THE WORLD” by Minori Chihara

1. Hamatora – “FLAT” by livetune & Yuuki Ozaki

It was actually pretty hard for me to decide between my top 3 since I loved the three equally, but I decided to give it to Hamatora for not only the music but the colourful animation along with it. I also want to give an honourable mention to Nagi no Asukara’s 2nd opening – “ebb and flow” by Ray by being my favourite opening song from the continuing Fall 2013 season. Quite the contrast from the first opening but the overall mood of the song fits the second half of the series much better.

My top 5 Winter 2014 anime endings:

gin no saji s2 ed

5. Witch Craft Works – “Witch☆Activity” by KMM Dan

4. Noragami – “Heart Realize” by Tia

3. Nobunaga the Fool – “AXIS” by STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION

2. Hamatora – “Hikari” by Wataru Hatano

1. Gin no Saji – “Oto no Naru Hou e→” by Goose house

Gin no Saji manages to once again to have one of the catchiest ED songs of the season that I can’t seem to get out of my head. My honourable mention for a continuing Fall 2013 series ending song would go to Tokyo Ravens – “Break a spell” by Mami Kawada.

Well that concludes my list of top OPs & EDs of the 2014 Winter anime season. This list is just based off of stuff I’ve watched/currently watching and my personal preferences. I’d love to hear what your favourites were! You can also check out my Top 5 OP & ED songs from the Fall 2013 season on my older blog.
